In anticipation of a tenant led property recovery in 2012, GBR Phoenix Beard has strengthened its office agency team with the recruitment of Angus Huntley as a surveyor. Angus joins from Stoford Developments where he undertook a postgraduate placement role and he will work alongside John Griffiths, Ben Thacker and Richard Fletcher-Brewer.

New Year sees yet another new face at property consultants GBR Phoenix Beard with Sean Reid joining as a director in the Lease Consultancy and Valuation team. Sean is well known in the Midlands property market for his Landlord and Tenant experience – he joins following over 3 years as a director in Lambert Smith Hampton’s Lease Advisory team and before that spent 7 years in a similar role with Jones Lang LaSalle.

GBR Phoenix Beard’s office agency team has advised award winning Birmingham residential estate agency FleetMilne on their search for a new city centre office location. FleetMilne has signed a 10 year lease for 2,009 sq ft on the ground floor at the prominent Grade II listed 85-89 Colmore Row building, with a 5 year break option.
