Travelodge Upper Dean Street
Gallan Developments Limited are currently developing a 210 bed Travelodge hotel which is being forward funded by South Yorkshire Pension Authority. The hotel is due for completion in 2011. Jeremy Maddocks of GBR Phoenix Beard is the monitoring surveyor on behalf of South Yorkshire and manages the project in both a commercial and practical manner. It is enlightening to work alongside of a monitoring surveyor who endorses this approach, which leads to a good working relationship between all parties concerned, the developer, the funder, the contractor and the tenant. Stratford-upon-Avon College
Our role: project management of a £7 million development including performing arts, teaching and catering facilities.
Stratford-upon-Avon College appointed GBR Phoenix Beard to project manage and act as Quantity Surveyors for a major building programme of approximately £7 million. This led to similar appointments in connection with a number of smaller projects.

Lingfield Plc
Our role: project management services relating to Lingfield's major development schemes, one example being Tempus Ten, a mixed-use 17.5 acre site in Walsall, overall development costs £45m.
Lingfield has utilised the Project Management services of GBR Phoenix Beard for over a decade in some major commercial development schemes throughout the West Midlands. At the commencement of any new build development, bringing together the right mix of personalities is very important at this early stage.
They are able to draw upon their experience and appoint and manage the right development team. Birmingham Science Park Aston
GBR Phoenix Beard has been involved with the development of the science park over many years, including preparation of a development proposal for phase 8 of the site, project management services for a number of building reconfigurations and we also undertake the park's annual asset valuation.
